PRP/PRF for Under Eyes
Puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines under the eyes can make you appear tired and aged, even when you’re well-rested. PRP or PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) for under eyes is a cutting-edge treatment designed to rejuvenate the delicate skin around your eyes and restore a youthful, radiant appearance. Read here to learn more about PRF for under eyes.

What is PRF for Under Eyes?
PRF is a quick, simple & effective treatment due to its unique composition and the way it makes use of the body’s natural healing capabilities. The main components that contribute to the success of this treatment are:

Platelets: Platelets are blood cells responsible for blood clotting and wound healing. In PRF, the concentrated platelets release growth factors that play a crucial role in tissue regeneration and repair, promoting the healing process.
Fibrin Matrix: Unlike traditional PRP, PRF contains a fibrin matrix, a natural scaffold that supports cell migration and adhesion. This matrix creates a slow-release mechanism for the growth factors, prolonging their activity and resulting in longer-lasting effects.
Growth Factors: Growth factors are proteins that regulate various cellular processes, such as cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation. They stimulate collagen and elastin production, which are essential for maintaining skin firmness and elasticity. The high concentration of growth factors in PRF contributes to the effectiveness of the treatment.
White Blood Cells: PRF contains white blood cells, which play a vital role in the immune response and fight against infection. They also secrete cytokines that modulate inflammation and contribute to tissue repair and regeneration.
Stem Cells: PRF contains a small number of stem cells, which are undifferentiated cells capable of differentiating into various cell types. These cells play a role in tissue repair and regeneration by replacing damaged cells and stimulating the production of new healthy cells.

Key Benefits of PRP/PRF for Under Eyes
PRP or PRF for under eyes is an excellent treatment option for individuals looking to improve the appearance of the delicate skin around their eyes without undergoing invasive procedures.

Some of the benefits of PRF are:
  • Natural Rejuvenation. By using your body’s own healing properties, PRF provides a natural and safe approach for under-eye rejuvenation, reducing the risk of allergic reactions or complications associated with synthetic fillers.
  • Long-Lasting Results. PRF has a slower release of growth factors compared to traditional Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), allowing for more sustained and prolonged results. Many patients notice improvements in the under-eye area for up to a year after the treatment.
  • Minimally Invasive. Unlike surgery, PRF for under eyes is a minimally invasive treatment that requires no incisions, anesthesia, or significant downtime.
  • Versatile Treatment. PRF can be used to address a variety of under-eye concerns, such as dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, and wrinkles, providing a comprehensive solution for a refreshed and revitalized appearance.
